I got it finally finished and installed Sunday. God, I couldn?t wait to test it. 6pm I hit the means streets of Texas (yeah right) and run up to 121, a long stretch of road where I could fully test the supercharger. Now granted that I had already gotten up on the car, but not for more than one gear and never over six thousand rpms. But now as I rounded the turn ready, I dropped the transmission into second and floored it. I watched as my rpms shot up like a rocket followed by the high pitched whine of the charger. All the time, effort, cut knuckles, and swear words uttered melted away, forgotten, as my tach climbed to eight thousand. A hard shift to third and my ACT clutch chirps, grabbing, already sending the little engine that could towards redline. Fourth gear comes and goes, and I finally let off at a hundred and twenty mile per hour. I put the car in neutral and coast the rest of the way with a big smile residing across my face. Pure bliss in a little blower.
Plus I want to thank everyone who helped me with my questions and all you guys with the kick a$$ websites with all the JRSC info on it. It was a BIG help.
